Terms of service

Short and in plain language, because terms nobody reads protect nobody. Using the site means accepting these.

What this service does

It takes a link to a public TikTok or Douyin post, reads what that post makes publicly available, and hands you the media file. It is free, needs no account, and there is nothing to install.

Public posts only

The service reads only what is already public. It does not bypass privacy settings, log into accounts, or reach content behind a restriction. If a post is private, deleted, age-restricted or blocked in a region, it cannot be downloaded here, and no amount of retrying will change that.

What you are responsible for

The videos, images and audio you download belong to the people who made them. Downloading a file does not transfer any rights in it.

Saving something for your own use is generally uncontroversial. Republishing someone else’s work, presenting it as your own, or using it commercially without permission is not, and it may breach copyright as well as TikTok’s own terms. That is your responsibility, not ours.

You also agree not to use the service in ways that damage it — automated bulk scraping, attempts to overload it, or attempts to make it fetch anything other than the platforms it supports.

What we do not promise

The service is provided as is. It depends on reading public pages that we do not control and that change without notice, so it may break, slow down, or become unavailable at any time.

We do not guarantee that any particular video can be downloaded, that a given quality will be offered, or that the service will keep working tomorrow. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using it or from being unable to.

No affiliation

This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to TikTok, Douyin, or ByteDance Ltd. Those names are used only to describe what the service works with.

Reporting content

We do not host any of the media. Files are streamed from the platform’s own servers at the moment you request them and are not stored afterwards, so there is nothing on our side to take down.

If you believe your rights are being infringed, the effective route is a report to the platform hosting the post. If you still want to reach us about it, the takedown address is on the contact page.

Changes

These terms may change. The date at the top of the page shows when they last did, and continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the current version.
